I decided to get an idea of what the real estate market was doing as far as market values at the time and supply of homes in a certain price range. I saw open house listings on line locally in Fenton, MI so I decided to go to a few one weekend. My first visit was at a house that Justin was showing. When I walked in the house he immediately approached me and introduced himself. I told him that I was looking at homes to get an idea of what my recent college graduate(daughter) could afford. Justin suggested that my daughter first get in touch with a lender to get prequalified. He offered names of a couple lenders his previous buyers were happy with. I found Justin to be a kind and humble agent not one that is concerned about commission and flaunting his accomplishments in real estate. I was most impressed with how he connected with my daughter and I in a more personal relationship of concern for her needs and mine as her mother. Justin answered every question we had. I joked with him about all the “mom questions and concerns “ I had and he totally understood. He went to bat for us when we stumbled over a few issues even though the seller’s agent kept telling us he had other offers and we don’t have to purchase. We met Crystal when we saw a listing for a house that she was promoting in an area that we wanted to move to. We made an appointment with her to see the house. From the time I met her I knew she was a wonderful agent. She was not pushy, did not give her uninvited opinion and did everything she could to get an offer into the sellers. The house was on 1.25 acres, and she did tell us the acreage next to the house was for sale as well to give us the opportunity to buy it, which we did. Crystal got us through the process very quickly and within about 3 weeks of making our offer we were closing.Crystal offered to sell my house for me, and I am sure if I had said I have someone else or was not using an agent she would not have pushed me. I did agree to let her sell my house. She was not from the area where my house was located but when I met her at the house to show it to her, she knew everything about the city that I lived in.
